This is the second part of the (underrated) Bible Scriptures as I hit 12 scriptures on the first part.
For every twelve scriptures, there will be a new part. Here is the second part.

#Scripture 13
Proverbs 24:28 28 Don’t give witness against your neighbour without any reason. Don’t use your lips to tell lies. Don’t tell lies because lies aren’t good.
Better to tell a painful truth than a beautiful lie.
I was talking to one of my friends in real life the other day and I asked them can you lie about something to protect someone? Because I thought you could.

Proverbs 24:28 28 Don’t give witness against your neighbour without any reason. Don’t use your lips to tell lies. Don’t tell lies because lies aren’t good.

I was talking to one of my friends in real life the other day and I asked them can you lie about something to protect someone? Because I thought you could.
But apparently you can’t.
It doesn’t matter the situation, always tell the truth.
Even if it’s not what someone wants to hear. Some people lie to someone only for them to find out that they were lying and their relationship is jeopardised. I don’t want that happening to any of you guys.
Likewise don’t say your neighbour did something wrong when they didn’t. God can read your mind and he sees your heart.
Never jump to conclusions towards anyone or anything without knowing the full story.
After all, the Bible says "judge others and you will be judged" in Mathew 7 vs 2.
Do you really want to be judged by others? I'm sure you don't, so therefore don't do it to other people.
#Scripture 14
Psalms 2:1 Why do the nations plan evil together? Why do they make useless plans?

#Scripture 14
Psalms 2:1 Why do the nations plan evil together? Why do they make useless plans?
Romans 12:21 says ‘don’t overcome evil with evil. But overcome evil with good’.
Which links to this because it’s both talking about avoiding evil.
Which links to this because it’s both talking about avoiding evil.
If someone does something to you that you don’t like, it’s natural for some of us to seek revenge.
But the bible says you shouldn’t do this. You should love those that hurt you.
God doesn’t like evil because evil comes from Satan. So don’t plan evil with other people, no matter how badly they hurt you. Plan good instead and you will be blessed. <3
If you seek revenge then you may end up hurting yourself more than the person you had planned to seek revenge on.
It's a waste of time and it isn't worth it; don't follow in these footsteps if you know what's best for you.
Proverbs 16:32 moreover says... It is better to be patient than to fight.
It is better to control your temper than to take a city.
It is better to be patient than fight can also mean it is better for someone to not seek revenge than to seek it.

At the same time, avoid hurting others (accidentally and deliberately) so that you're no victim to someone seeking revenge on you either.
#Scripture 15
Psalms 119:2 Blessed are those who obey his covenant laws. They trust in him with all their hearts.

Psalms 119:2 Blessed are those who obey his covenant laws. They trust in him with all their hearts.
For you to be truly blessed, you have to follow what the Bible says.
But that means things like obeying all of the Ten Commandments, not just some of them.
But that means things like obeying all of the Ten Commandments, not just some of them.
God doesn’t like that. He doesn’t work like that either.
As I speak, I too am trying to be truly blessed because even though my walk with God is better, it’s nowhere near perfect. And I admit that.
I really need to work on not having any idol except from God. Sometimes other things unconsciously gets in the way of that. I’m trying to reduce my time on these things daily.
And I hope you can do the same.

These aren't underrated Bible Scriptures, more so something else. The God laid it on my heart to post this today whilst I was writing the other post so here we are.
8 Signs of Backsliding (first 3)
If this post offends anyone then I’m very sorry in advance. That was honestly not my intention at all.
Credits to website. The subheadings were already capitalised.
1) THE FOCUS OF YOUR HEART CHANGES FROM THE THINGS OF GOD TO THE THINGS OF THE WORLD
To love the world is to hate God. (James 4:4)
You can’t serve two masters. Matthew 6:24
Don’t be too attached to worldly things because nothing in the world is permanent even if it doesn’t seem that way.

I read some quotes online yesterday on how you shouldn't let the devil get to you.
Know that when the devil tempts you, it's not because you are weak, it's because you're strong instead.
The truth is, the more he tempts you, then the stronger you are or you are becoming.
Unfortunately, the devil knows what he's doing and he is intelligent. He will intentionally use material possessions to trick you into loving the world more than God- but the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
This quote says...
It's true, and you can red John 10:10 for proof.
John 10:10 says The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
This can't be more correct, and like the picture says, pray for wisdom and discernment (understanding) today amen.
2) YOU BECOME MORE CONCERNED ABOUT YOURSELF RATHER THAN THE THINGS OF GOD
This is basically saying that you shouldn’t be selfish and you should think about other people.
2) YOU BECOME MORE CONCERNED ABOUT YOURSELF RATHER THAN THE THINGS OF GOD
This is basically saying that you shouldn’t be selfish and you should think about other people.
We’ve all had selfish moments.
I definitely have but as of lately I’m trying to be more selfless, on here and in real life too.
It’s always better to give than to receive. You get back 10x what you give.
I know this from experience.
Especially with offering, when I have given offering, I almost get 10 times as much back as I gave. And like I always love to say:
"Giving with strings attached isn't really giving"
So make sure that you are seeking God because you want to and not because of what you can get from him.
3) YOU NO LONGER HAVE A PASSIONATE LOVE FOR GOD AND HIS WORK
God should make you happy.
3) YOU NO LONGER HAVE A PASSIONATE LOVE FOR GOD AND HIS WORK
God should make you happy.
It shouldn't have the opposite effect.
I get that sometimes people can be annoyed at God when something goes (horribly) wrong in their life, so they think it's God's fault. But it's not.
Life is not rosy all the time, for anyone.
Nobody has a perfect life, some people are just good at pretending they do, especially on social media.
We have tumultuous and hard times in life so that we know how to deal with them, and so that we can turn to God more.
People normally tend to turn to God more during hard times of their life than the good. This is good but you should turn to him irrespective of what you're going through. God made the good times happen.
Without the bad, you won't appreciate the good.
It can even make you think:
"Oh! So that's why I went through this difficult time, makes sense!"
Or something like that.
You'd be bored of life if things were good all the time, trust me. Almost just like if we lived in aa perfect world where everything and everyone is the same.
If God or doing things related to him somehow makes you unhappy does then this is a sign that you’ve been backsliding.
The rest will be up later. Again, if this offended anyone then I’m truly sorry. It wasn’t targeted towards anyone. My last analysis of Psalms 119 a few minutes ago was indirectly about backsliding so I thought it would be helpful for me to talk more about it.
Next three parts will be up hopefully on Sunday the 4th of July - see you then!

4) Your heart is not in the things of God.
Matthew 6:33 “But put God’s kingdom first. Do what he wants you to do. Then all of those things will also be given to you.”
Come late 2020 ish my heart wasn’t in the things of God either.
I would refuse to post about him on social media (back when my people pleasing / caring what other people think was really really bad) and in real life I would avoid going bible study.
Doing things like that annoyed me. I would get distracted over anything to do with God.
Late September 2020 and my spiritual life changed for the better, especially how I joined this super amazing church in University of Nottingham called First Love.
Late September 2020 and my spiritual life changed for the better, especially how I joined this super amazing church in University of Nottingham called First Love.
Sadly I'm not really in any of them anymore, but I do still tune into it on Thursdays. I now continue with my church that I did before I joined university and I'm happy there like I've always been.
But things got even better for me early Feb this year because that was when I first posted about God somewhere and he inspired me to keep going.
So yeah, like I said I’ve backslidden too.
So yeah, like I said I’ve backslidden too.
Even today - I got distracted from writing the other post I posted today by listening to some secular music.
I listen to that kind of music from time to time (whilst listening to the lyrics of course!), but inevitably I listen to my gospel playlist more often.
My favourite gospel artists in order are Out of Eden, Ramiyah, Darwin Hobbs, Deitrick Haddon (& The Voices Of Unity).
Backsliding doesn’t even have to be recent.
But if you can’t find joy anymore in things to do with God then this is a sign that you’ve been backsliding.
5) YOUR LIFESTYLE BECOMES MORE SINFUL RATHER THAN MORE HOLY/PURE
Everybody sins. Romans 3:23.
5) YOUR LIFESTYLE BECOMES MORE SINFUL RATHER THAN MORE HOLY/PURE
Everybody sins. Romans 3:23.
But if you keep sinning especially deliberately then this is a sign that you’ve been backsliding.
Don’t worry though, God isn’t going anywhere.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. Hebrews 13:8
6) Your church attendance becomes less important to you.
Church should make you happy.
Especially during coronavirus unless you have a good reason as to why you can’t go then you should try and attend online church.
If going to church or anything else related to God becomes a burden to you then this is a sign that you’ve been backsliding.
Hebrews 10:25
Let us not give up meeting together. Some are in the habit of doing this. Instead, let us cheer each other up with words of hope. Let us do it all the more as you see the day coming when Christ will return.

You shouldn't be forced to go to church. Or do anything church related.
I used to be forced, but not anymore. I would join voluntarily, often convincing my household to join too, Bible study and family devotion as well.
I love God and I hope you do too.
Stay blessed! xoxo

Signs of backsliding (last few)
I don’t know if I’ve used this sign before but like I said earlier, it’s best to give than to receive.
Why?
Because giving shows that you’re loyal and selfless.
At the same time, bear in mind that giving with strings attached isn’t really giving.
You will always get 10 times what you give back in your life. It doesn't matter when it happens or where, just know that everything will happen in due time.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 says There is a time for everything.
There’s a time for everything that is done on earth.
2 There is a time to be born.
And there’s a time to die.
There is a time to plant.
And there’s a time to pull up what is planted.
There’s a time for everything that is done on earth.
2 There is a time to be born.
And there’s a time to die.
There is a time to plant.
And there’s a time to pull up what is planted.
It even says that there is a time to plant, and there is a time to pull up what is planted, just like both giving and receiving.
Give money to God especially because he gave you the money.
If you can spend your money on material / luxurious things in which you may or may not need, then you should be able to do the same thing for God.
Just make sure you don't worship the money as the love of money is the root of all evil.
You can find this in 1 Timothy 6 vs 10.
8) Your desire to fellowship with other Christians diminishes
Be around people that are good influences on you.
They don’t necessarily have to be religious.
I have a number of non religious friends. Just be around people that lift you up.
On here and in real life too.
Proverbs 13:20 Anyone who walks with wise people grows wise. But a companion of foolish people suffers harm.
There are waaaay more than 8 signs of backsliding but if I mentioned all of them then I’d be here forever.

I hope I helped y’all out in some way. Again this really wasn’t targeted towards anyone so sorry if I upset you.
I will do underrated Bible Scriptures part 3 on another page.
