Feeling down or you just need some encouragement from the Bible to lift your spirits up. regardless of your mood?
This page is dedicated to Bible Scriptures, and I will add three new ones every couple of days, unless stated otherwise
When I hit twelve scriptures, I will do another one (because these will be with some short analyses)
So here are the first three for now.
#Scripture 1
But we trust in the Lord our God. Psalms 20:7
#Scripture 2
Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
Do not depend on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
#Scripture 3
A single day in your courtyards is better
than a thousand anywhere else.
I would rather guard the door of the house of my God
I think I really like scriptures that are linked to not loving the world. I love every scripture in the Bible of course, but I think I need not loving the world scriptures the most. This scripture here is saying that if you gain everything in the world...
But you don't have a relationship with God...
What are you doing with your life? You are wasting your time.
God doesn't like it when you love the things of the world since worldly things pass away. Think about it. You may be the richest person in the world but as soon as you die, none of that will matter.
2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIRV version) says
So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
Don't envy famous people, unless they are famous because they're doing something related to God. Fame can ultimately set you up for destruction. Not all the time, it just depends on how they handle it. I have also recently learnt by someone that God never gives you more than what you can handle. We're the ones that think that we can't handle it. God isn't like that.
And like I said, none of this will matter as soon as you're gone. God's words will never die even after everything on else does. See Matthew 24:35 and 2 Corinthians 5:17.
That is it for now, I will see you on Thursday 17th June by God's grace.

Apologies, I said I'd be here on Thursday. Some things happened. Thursday has gone but Sunday is here.
#Scripture 7
Money can’t buy happiness! Instead of spending money on people, spend time with them. Time is more precious than money! You moreover can't get time back although you can surely get back money.
Some people are rich/wealthy and that’s fine. I have absolutely nothing against that. But don’t be too caught up with money because it won’t always make you happy. Wealth is good for you but I feel like that's only if you know how to control it and yourself.
1 Timothy 6:10 Love for money causes all kinds of evil. Some people want to get rich. They have wandered away from the faith. They have wounded themselves with many sorrows.
Cross Reference: Matthew 6: 24 “No one can serve two masters at the same time. He will hate one of them and love the other. Or he will be faithful to one and dislike the other. You can’t serve God and Money at the same time.”
Similar to what I said earlier, you can not serve two masters at the same time, or at all. You cannot serve both God and money. Choose God because he gave you the money. Those that worship money normally set themselves up for destruction without even realising it. Money is good, just don't worship it - and learn to give to other people sometimes.
#Scripture 8
Proverbs 1:7 If you really want to gain knowledge, you must begin by having respect for the Lord. But foolish people hate wisdom and training.
Don’t hate wisdom and instruction. If God chastises you, it’s out of love. Don’t care what others think. Care what God thinks. God corrects those that he loves. Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child a way they should go, and when they are older, they shall not depart from it."
I pray that you will never depart from the Lord in Jesus name. And when you do, aka backsliding (either knowingly or unknowingly), always make sure to repent, go back to him as soon as possible and never do the same thing again.
I know I've said this before but I believe it's really important.
When God calls you to do something and people rise against you, attacking you, ridiculing you, making fun of you, or slandering you, don’t be discouraged or feel alone. They did the same to Jesus and His disciples. This is what Jesus Himself told His followers about this kind of treatment:
Matthew 5:11-12
“Blessed are you when people make fun of you and hurt you because of me. You
are also blessed when they tell all kinds of evil lies about you because of me.
12 Be joyful and glad. Your reward in heaven is great. In the same way, people
hurt the prophets who lived long ago.”
#Scripture 9
James 4:4 You are not faithful to God. Don’t you know that to be a friend of the world is to hate God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
Cross Reference can be Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to get people to think well of me? Or do I want God to think well of me? Am I trying to please people? If I were, I would not be serving Christ.
Seeking to please men rather than pleasing God makes us unworthy to be called a servant of God. Why? Because when we seek to please men in exchange for their approval and acceptance we are really serving no one but our self.
The sad truth is, however, that the devil always uses that self-serving, people pleasing mentality to convince us to follow the flow of the foolish to our own destruction.
That old deceiver
will call you out into oncoming traffic, all while telling you that he will
love you if you just choose to not listen when your father says. Don’t fall for
this.
From Care More About What God Thinks Than Man
It's true though, you should aim to do this and if you find it hard then you can always take it to the Lord in Prayer.

After these last three scriptures, then I will do a part 2 to this so that it's not too lengthy.
Scripture #10
Psalms 57:2-3 I cry out to God Most High. I cry out to God, and he carries out his plan for me. 3 He answers from heaven and saves me. He puts to shame those who chase me. He shows me his love and his truth.
God has a plan and a purpose for your life. I’ll admit when I first posted about Jesus Christ (this was on another website entirely, not a website I made, just another one in general), God was the one that convinced me to talk about him (almost) daily so that I can help other people.
As you achieve this said plan and purpose for your life, you will inevitably have a lot of obstacles in the way. God allows suffering so that you can appreciate the good times, turn to him more and just learn from them in general. People normally turn to God more in troubled times than in good. And whilst it is good to turn to God, you should do it regardless of the occasion.
I didn’t want to do
it myself because I kept doubting myself and my abilities. But I turned to God
to help me and he can help you too. Just turn to him. Also know that whenever you doubt yourself and your abilities, that isn't normally from the Lord. That is from the devil instead.
Scripture #11
Do you have enemies? As contradictory as this sounds, having enemies is actually a good thing. Even Jesus had enemies. And believe me when I tell y’all that if everybody likes you, then there’s actually a problem somewhere. I don’t know what the problem is, I just know there’s a problem.
It’s natural for some people to wish something bad against their enemies but the bible says you shouldn’t do this. You should love them and pray for them. Some people may not hate you, they may hate the situation that they're in and they take it out on you, especially if you're a good person. And they know that.
So remember, not
everyone will like you and that’s okay! Forget the haters because somebody
loves you!!❤️ even the nicest people have enemies. You don't necessarily have to worry about these people though as whilst other people's opinion of you can change, God's doesn't and never will.
He's loved you from the beginning until the day you die. Before you were even born, he even knew you; you can find all of this in Jeremiah 1:5.
Before you were born I set you apart to serve me.
I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5
You will be a prophet to the nations in due season, amen. People will look at you in admiration and nothing else, especially something else against or opposing to that.
Stay blessed xx
Scripture #12
God will never
leave you empty. He will replace everything you lost. If he asks you to put
something down, it’s because he wants you to pick up something greater.
Hebrews 13:5 Don’t be controlled by love for money. Be happy with what you have. God has said,
“I will never leave you.
I will never desert you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 is a cross reference)
If God closes a door in your life then don’t try & open it because it’s not your door. Rejection is God’s protection, whether it be from a person, job or anything else. I don't want to go into it but I know from experience.
God moreover doesn't take back his gifts (Romans 11:29), which can be another reason on how he doesn't leave you empty.
This is very important. Never forget this.
Have a good day /
